Gluten-Free Breakfasts
Newcomers to the gluten-free lifestyle initially have a hard time grasping what to eat in the morning. In fact, one of the most frequent questions that I am asked is, "what can I eat for my first meal of the day?" The reason people are so overwhelmed with this issue is because they automatically assume if they cannot eat wheat or wheat based products that there is nothing remaining. This is far from the case. In today's world, we now have many delicious GF options for virtually all the choices that you do with traditional meals.
Sample Breakfast Menus
Here is a listing of the common meals that I make in the morning. 1) Bacon and Eggs 2) Egg omelet (endless varieties) 3) Smoothie (yogurt, whey powder, ice and fresh or frozen fruit)
4) Pancakes
5) Waffles
6) Biscuits with Jelly
7) Nuts and fruit snack bar 8) Bagel with butter or nut butter 9) Cereal with almond milk
10) Muffins
11) Toast with bacon and jelly
12) Huevos Rancheros
13) Buckwheat Porridge 14) Fresh fruit 15) Raisin Bread 16) GF Sausage (Applegate Farms) Within many of these selections there are many variations for you to make and enjoy.
In fact, I bet you never knew how many choices that you actually have to savor. So I no longer want to hear that do not have any anything to eat. This is simply not the case. So no more excuses and please no more whining!
