Gluten-Free Buns and Rolls
Thank God for the gluten-free buns and rolls that we now have to enjoy. These are two great staple foods in the American diet with those of us who are gluten sensitive eating tons of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and dinner rolls. In years past we sensitive types had to give up on eating these fine foods. Not anymore, we now have a large number of excellent choices to experience and enjoy. So let's look at these foods.
Buns
There are a few companies making these products. These include: The Grainless Baker Schar Ener-G GF Creations GF Meals Silly Yak Bakery Whole Foods Market Rose's BakeryMake sure to check the different ingredients for each product. While they are all GF be aware that some of these products contain brown rice and soy. So check the ingredients to make sure that it contains nothing to which you are sensitive. Most of these are good, but not great. Still being able to eat hamburgers and hot dogs again is a wonderful treat. I personally am not a huge fan of hot dogs, unless you are talking about chili dogs. They are awesome! Still I know that many of you like hot dogs and now you have some prepared products to use and savor.
Rolls
The companies making these rolls include: Cybros The Grainless Baker GF Creations GF Meals Whole Foods Market Rose's Bakery Miller's GF BakeryThese are all pretty good quality and I think that you will enjoy eating them. Just put a little butter on them and appreciate these tasty meal treats. Once again be careful and read labels to make certain that these products contain nothing to which you are sensitive. Most of these companies post ingredients of their products on their websites.
If you like, Fast and Fresh and Kinnikinnick Foods have mixes that can be used to make your own versions. Many others though just choose to make theirs from scratch.
